Bank of Ireland's Global Project Finance (GPF) team was established in 1996 and has built up a strong reputation as one of the leading Project Finance banks in the European market. In 2001 a dedicated US team was established in Stamford, Connecticut to focus on the Infrastructure and Energy markets across North America.
Our Infrastructure specialists have significant arranging and underwriting experience across North America, including senior roles in some of the more high-profile transactions over the last five years. Our Energy specialists have a strong track record in Power Generation projects, including a particular focus on Renewable Energy.
As part of an international commercial bank, our GPF team offers a full range of lending products and ancillary services tailored specifically for the Project Finance market. In addition to significant underwriting capacity, we offer a full range of hedging and derivative products, cash investment solutions and a knowledgeable agency function.
